PASAGI – Centre for Indonesian Indigenous Studies is a leading research centre dedicated to the study, research, and development of indigenous knowledge in Indonesia. The centre focuses on a wide range of indigenous knowledge areas, including: indigenous philosophy, customary law, indigenous religions, indigenous traditions, indigenous governance, traditional medicine, food processing techniques, indigenous psychology, traditional arts, environmental management and climate change, and sustainable development practices. Using an interdisciplinary approach, PASAGI conducts in-depth studies while advocating for indigenous community issues at regional, national, and international levels, promoting the preservation and advancement of indigenous cultures and their contributions to global knowledge.
